The Barbican Estate, known as Barbican, is situated in central London, England and consists of approximately 2,000 flats, maisonettes, and houses. It is located within the City of London, an area previously heavily impacted by World War II bombings and now largely occupied by financial institutions. The estate is conveniently located only 1.4 miles north east of Charing Cross.
