Mouth To Source is my 2nd photography book and one that I'm very proud of, and that took far too long to make.
Like most of my projects this book started out unintentionally.
After a few weekends spent strolling along the River Thames In London, I came up with the highly unrealistic idea of walking the entire river and compiling the photos into a book. Most people I mentioned it to chuckled to themselves in understandable condescension. But here is the book.
The book is laid out as the title suggests from the Mouth, which for the purposes of this book I’ve decided is at Thorpe Bay, to the Source near the village of Kemble in the Cotswolds.
I finished the project in September 2022, a 215 mile walk that felt like a 2,150 mile walk but I loved every second of it.
I hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed the walk.
