I took this in 2016 while working on my first photography book, A Year In London. At the time I didn’t read into it too much, I just liked the shapes of the shadows cast on the wall behind people, but I later saw the man’s shadow as the person he really was, and the actual person, just a money making, tax paying body in a shirt and tie.
That probably says more about me than about the man in the photo, there are so many ways to read into it
